about ares
Ares Galaxy is a peer-to-peer file sharing
program. The publisher describes the network
as similar in function to Kazaa's FastTrack
network. Ares used to work off the Gnutella
network, but six months after its creation in
2002, they switched to their own network, consisting
of leaves and supernodes. Ares Galaxy is open
source software for the Microsoft Windows operating
systems and was written in the Delphi programming
language.
Features:
Proponents of the software claim that it has
faster download times, no spyware or adware,
faster and more complete searches than other
file-sharing programs, and connects quickly.
Ares also has the additional feature of chat
rooms. There are three stand-alone alternative
clients that connect to the same network. Warez
P2P is basically a clone of Ares Galaxy but
with a few minor extras and advertising. KCeasy
connects to the Ares network, in addition to
OpenFT and Gnutella. Since version 1.9.0 data
sharing is possible even when both peers are
behind a firewall.

Fall Out Boy -
Band history Beginnings — 2001-2003
Trohman and Wentz met each other through
mutual involvement in the Chicago
hardcore punk scene. The two decided
to start a band that was different
than their hardcore punk roots, and
more similar to bands they listened
to growing up such as Green Day and
Saves the Day. In 2001, Trohman met
Stump at a convention bookstore. Trohman
later introduced him to Wentz. Stump
originally auditioned to be the band's
drummer, but became the singer instead,
although he had no prior experience
as a singer. While still unnamed,
the band asked the audience at a college
show what their band should be called,
and an audience member yelled out
"Fallout Boy," the name
of superhero Radioactive Man's sidekick
on the animated TV show The Simpsons.
The band claims that, at the time,
they were unaware of the character.
They do spell the name "fall
out" differently than the character,
the original Fallout Boy's name refered
to nuclear fallout.
Lead singer and guitarist Chris
Envy of Showoff (formerly on Maverick
Records) briefly joined the band
in 2002 when the other member's
of Showoff broke off to create The
Fold [1].
